The Organizer of Huawei FusionSolar Creators’ Cup (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") is Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co. Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei", "We", or "Organizer").
1. You have the right to choose whether to participate in this Contest. Your participation in this Contest in part or in full shall be deemed as you having fully understood and accepted all terms and conditions contained herein including Contest rules set forth in this section and their interpretations.
2. Who can participate:
a) This event is open to installers (individual or company). Individuals are also participating on behalf of their companies.
b) Only installer company registered by “Huawei Smart PV Community” can attend the winner prize selection.
c) Only installer company certificated by “Huawei Smart PV Community” can attend the annual winner prize selection.
d) Only works that have not won awards in similar competitions or been published in public publications or media channels are allowed to participate in the competition.
e) If you are under 21 years old, you are not allowed to participate in the Contest.
f) Not subject to sanctions or restrictions imposed by the United Nations, China, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, or other governments/institutions
3. Entries will only be accepted once these rules of entry are agreed to in the submission process.
4. The deadline for submitting entries is 23:59 on July 31, 2025, Europe Eastern Time (UTC+1).
5. How to participate: You can enter the competition by posting your video on Facebook or YouTube with the hashtag #HuaweiFusionSolarCreatorsCup and tagging @Huawei Digital Power.
To ensure you receive timely updates regarding awards, please set your profile to "public" during the event and allow more non-followers to like, comment, interact, and send you private messages during the competition.
If your work is selected as promotional material or as a winning entry, we will collect your Facebook nickname or YouTube channel name and credit you when publishing your work.
a) How to Enter: Submit your work via social media (YouTube or Facebook). If you share the same work on multiple platforms, only the one with the highest engagement at the deadline counts.
b) Submission Limit: Each entrant can submit up to 3 entries. (A single video or a photo group counts as one entry.) If you submit more than three entries, only the top three based on engagement will be considered.
c) Content Requirements:
i. Video: Up to 5 minutes, with a title and description. Must show at least three explicit scenes featuring Huawei FusionSolar Smart PV products.
ii. Photo: 3–9 photos with a title and description. At least 3 photos must clearly show Huawei FusionSolar Smart PV products.
d) Authenticity: Ensure all information is accurate and your work is original. False submissions will be disqualified.
e) Attention: Participants must read the above rules, and participating will be deemed as agreeing to the content of the above rules
6. Winning rules:
a) After the initial submission, all approved entries will be screened by a preliminary jury based on participation rules.
b) Top 3 Picks of the Month:
i. Based on the monthly post interactions, the top three works with the highest engagement data will win by the end of each month (no distinction between videos and photos).
ii. Post interactions for video publishing platforms = Likes + Shares + Views;
iii. Post interactions for photo publishing platforms = Likes + Shares.
c) Top 50 works (images + video) based on the total social media interactions data. After the content submission period ends on 7/31, Top 50 works with the highest cumulative engagement data during the submission period will proceed to the annual award review stage, where an expert judging panel will select the final winners.
d) The annual winner will be selected for the final stage of the Contest based on criteria:
i. Relevance to the Contest theme and track, include sustainable, high-quality, reliable & safety.
ii. Pilot reference duplicated meaning
iii. Social value
iv. Creativity.
For the final decision, a panel of judges will be invited to work together to determine the winners based on the criteria above.

• Winning works will have the opportunity to be on the event or social media advertising.
• The aforementioned creation funds are pre-tax amounts. The colors of physical prizes are chosen at random.
• The organizer has the right to modify the physical prizes before the results are announced.
• The organizer has the right to modify the number of winners.
• Champion of the Year, Top 6 Videos of the Year, Top 10 Pictures of the Year will be selected by judges from Huawei.
• The latest Huawei FusionSolar Smart PV product purchase credit: follow the as-is FusionSolar community promotion / rewards guideline.
• Validity period of credit:12 months of winning credit, supposing credit won by Sep. 24, 2025, it will expire on Sep. 24 2026.
• Credit cannot be transferred, given to others, or circulated in any other way
• Credit usage:the organizer will inform the winner results and Huawei local smart pv channel managers will contact the winner for the exchange of the credit and usage.
• Travel Package: the organizer will find one travel agency to organize the plan and communicate with the winner.

9. You warrant that you have independent, complete, explicit, and uncontroversial copyright of your submissions and that such submissions do not infringe the personal and property rights upon any third party, including but not limited to the intellectual property and rights of portrait, reputation, and privacy. Your participation in this Contest shall be deemed as you having agreed to this condition. All legal liabilities for any disputes arising from your breach of the aforementioned warranties shall be borne by you. The Organizer and its partners shall not assume any liability in this regard.
10. You shall not use images or videos belonging to others in your submissions under any circumstances. All legal liabilities for any disputes arising from the violation of the aforementioned rules shall be borne by you.
11. What are the copyright requirements for the entries?
a) The works shall be original works of the contestants, and shall not use copyright-free materials, shall not infringe on the legitimate rights and interests of third parties, and shall not plagiarize. Once found to have infringement, the work will be disqualified from awarding, the uploader will bear full responsibility.
b) The individual or organization uploading the entry shall bear all copyright liabilities for the entry. The organizer shall not bear legal liabilities arising from disputes including (not limited to) copyright, trademark, portrait, reputation and privacy, and the legal liabilities shall be borne by the entrant himself.
c) If there is background music in the video work, please confirm that you have the copyright or have purchased the copyright through formal channels.
d) If your work contains the owner's or customer's personal information or ownership details, you must obtain an authorization letter from the other party before publishing the work and claiming your prize.
12. This Contest does not charge any fees or return any submissions, and accepts electronic submissions only. Any losses and consequences arising from not submitting entries or passing the review shall be assumed by you.
13. All participants agree to abide by the relevant laws of the People's Republic of China and those of their own or resident countries, and shall not use this platform to publish any illegal content, including seditious, pornographic, violent, or terrorist images and/or data. Submissions that violate applicable laws and regulations or that the Organizer regards as disruptive to social order or public ethics shall be disqualified from the Contest.
14. Submissions that do not comply with the Contest rules contained herein shall not be selected for this Contest. Should such submissions be selected, they are not exempt from later disqualification, and the Organizer is entitled to reclaim any prizes, awards, medals, written certificates, and other awarded rights and interests, and publicize such action on its official website and other media.
15. You agree to authorize the Organizer and its associated companies to use, with or without modification, your submissions for campaigns and product and brand marketing for two (2) years (shortlisted entries for ten (10) years) for free for purposes including but not limited to global social media, print media, printing, photography exhibitions, retail stores, road shows, out-of-home advertising, and other online and offline marketing activities. In light of the preceding information, the Organizer shall not issue further notice to inform you or seek your approval when using your submissions. The Organizer reserves the right to sublicense the foregoing rights to its affiliates as well as strategic partners without further notice to inform you or seek your approval.
16. All materials on the official website of Contest are protected by the copyright laws of each country throughout the world. Except for cases permitted by Huawei in writing, it is prohibited to use any material (including duplication, modification, uploading, presentation, transmission, distribution, licensing, sales, and publication) except for non-commercial and personal purposes. If you wish to use any content on the Contest Awards website for other purposes, you are required to obtain prior consent from Huawei.
17. While Huawei will use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the Contest website, Huawei makes no guarantees about the accuracy, correctness, reliability, or otherwise with respect to such information, and assumes no liability or responsibility for any omissions or errors (including but not limited to typographical errors and technical errors) in the content.
18. Use of and browsing the site is done at your own risk. Neither Huawei, nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the Site, nor any naming right sponsors, event sponsors, and third parties affiliated with Huawei and its partners shall be liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising from your access to, use of, or browsing the Site, or downloading of any materials, data, text, images, video, or audio from the Site, including but not limited to damage to your computer or viruses that may infect your computer equipment or other property as a result thereof. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on the site is provided to you "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
19. The Organizer shall contact you if your submissions have been shortlisted. In this case, please submit the originals of your submissions, fill in your personal information, copyright statement, submission authorization statement, and other documents, sign them, and email copies of the aforementioned files to the Organizer. If you fail to do so within the required period or the files you provide do not comply with the rules stated by the Organizer, it shall be deemed that you have waived the right to participate in the shortlist qualification, and your position shall be granted to the participant who is ranked immediately below you.
20. You agree and acknowledge that you shall provide authentic personal information, including your name, contact number, email address, and correspondence address, for the purposes of contact and award distribution. The Organizer shall collect and process your personal information solely for the aforementioned purposes and to the extent permitted by applicable laws. All and any part of the portraits of the authorizer and other third parties, as well as the recording of other private objects (in particular houses, household contents, etc.) through which an individual may be identified, as they appear in photographs, videos, and/or other media submitted by the authorizer during event registration.
For more information about how the Organizer processes and protects your personal data, please refer to the privacy statement. You shall guarantee that the personal information provided by you is complete and accurate. The Organizer shall contact you to verify your registration information after the announcement of the award. If an award cannot be distributed to you due to incomplete personal information, it shall be deemed that you have waived the right to claim the award, and no award shall be distributed to you.
21. If an award cannot be distributed to you due to your own fault (including but not limited to the failure to fill in the contact information within three days after the Contest ends or inaccurate or incomplete contact information, resulting in the Organizer being unable to contact you), it shall be deemed that you have waived the right to claim the award. In case of the foregoing, the Organizer shall not assume any liabilities arising therefrom, and no award shall be distributed to you. You shall confirm whether the award and prize are complete upon receipt of them. In case of any abnormalities, you shall inform the sender directly. Unless it is due to willful intent or gross negligence on the part of the Organizer, the Organizer shall not bear any liabilities for any accidents suffered by you arising from receipt or use of the prize.
22. All images of the awards are for reference only. The actual award may vary. In case of quality issues, you shall contact the award manufacturer or designated distributor directly and adhere to their terms and conditions about the return, replacement, and repair of the product. Unless the Organizer is the award manufacturer, the Organizer shall not assume any responsibilities or liabilities for any of the aforementioned quality issues.
23. You shall assume personal income taxes incurred as a result of this Contest. Huawei shall decide whether to withhold and remit the tax on behalf of the winners based on relevant tax requirements. The Organizer shall bear domestic and international freight costs incurred for shipping the awards.
The winners are required to file tax returns for the prizes and other items received in accordance with the applicable laws of the country and the requirements of the local tax authorities.
24. In order to comply with all applicable national or international export control laws, regulations, and economic sanctions laws, regulations, or restrictions, we will check whether the winners are subject to sanctions or restrictions imposed by governments/institutions such as the United Nations, China, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States before awarding the prize. If we find that any winner is subject to sanctions or restrictions from relevant countries or institutions, we have the right to cancel the winner's eligibility and are not liable for any damages or losses of such winner if there is.
25. Huawei reserves the right to adjust these rules with reason and in accordance with standard practices of similar competitions and open calls. In the event that the adjustments consist of material changes and will have a significant impact on your rights and obligations, Huawei will inform you using appropriate means. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by Huawei. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by the updated and/or amended terms.
26. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Contest shall be negotiated in good faith. If no agreement has been reached within fifteen (15) days from the date on which the aforementioned negotiation starts, the parties agree to submit the dispute to the People's Court in Longgang District, Shenzhen of Guangdong Province for litigation.
27. Declaration of Conflicts of Interest:All the winners, competition jury would complete Declaration of conflict of interest
A conflict of interest is defined as any situation of interference between the personal interests of a candidate and those of the organization that employs the candidate, so that such interference affects or give the impression to influencing the independent, loyal, impartial and objective exercise of their professional responsibilities.
These personal interests may result from financial, professional, associative or cultural commitments, from family or sentimental ties that the candidate has outside of his or her professional responsibilities.
The conflict of interest may be actual, potential or apparent.
• Actual: situation in which a Staff has a personal interest that conflicts with Huawei's interests.
• Potential: a situation in which a Staff's personal interests are likely to conflict with Huawei's interests; the employee must remain vigilant to ensure that a potential conflict does not evolve into an actual conflict.
• Apparent: a situation in which a Staff’s personal interests may be perceived as giving rise to a conflict of interest.
A participant may be in a conflict of interest if:
1) Any current or former employee of Huawei is a primary relative* of the candidate;
2) Any current employee of Huawei's partner is a primary relative of the candidate;
3) Any current employee of the Huawei customer is a primary relative of the candidate;
4) Any current "public official" is a primary relative of the candidate;
*Main relatives include: 1) spouse, sons and daughters; 2) parents, brothers and sisters of the couple; 3) spouse of any of the above persons.
To ensure fairness, integrity, and compliance, the following additional declarations apply:
a) The Contest is not open to employees of government agencies, public officials, or individuals who may have direct influence over business decisions involving Huawei, unless otherwise permitted by applicable local laws and internal company policies.
b) Participants must ensure that accepting any prize, reward, or travel package related to this Contest complies with their employer’s code of conduct, ethics, and anti-bribery policies. Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary internal approvals prior to accepting any prize.
c)The Organizer confirms that the Contest is designed solely for marketing and branding purposes, and is not intended to improperly influence any commercial or governmental decision. No prize is offered as a reward for past or future business.
* I declare to not have any conflict of interest, direct or indirect, with Huawei. In the event that a potential conflict of interest may arise, I commit to inform organizer promptly.
